I started using Instagram with a focus on architecture and landscape. Most of my posts have been dedicated to landmarks, structures, or natural features. Recorded in each post is their style and material as well as a historical context when available. Buildings are an artistic expression of the architect, designer and era. Each contain a story or a feature that makes them unique. We interact with them so often we don’t take the time to evaluate the structures were our stores, offices, and services are hosted. Some of these structures have stood time, generations live and work in them and these are elements of our history and art.
